There are some reports of excessive battery drain when changing between routers. Some people can’t get it to connect to their network at all. There are also several reports of the connection just dropping, even at close proximity to the router. The charging port or the battery may be damaged or faulty. You could open up the back cover and put a small piece of paper or tape in the space between the buttons and the back cover. Drained Battery
When an Android robot with a red exclamation mark appears on the screen, hold down the POWER button and press the VOL UP bottom. If your Moto G’s battery has been completely discharged, it may not respond to simple charging. In this case, leave the phone to rest overnight without being connected to a charger. 1) grab your phone and with the top end of the phone hit a soft surface like a sofa or pillow hard a few times and it will remove the dust from the speaker. To control volume , just press volume up and drag the bars on screen to control. Holding Vol & power got me to boot screen and from there all is good.
